Steps to prepare chocolate pancakes
Step 1
First, break 2 eggs into a bowl. Add 3 tablespoons of sugar, 4 tablespoons of milk, and 1 tablespoon of honey (mixed with 1 tablespoon of hot water to dilute). Then, add 1 teaspoon of vanilla and stir until the ingredients are fully combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Step 2
Sift 90 grams of flour (about 6 tablespoons) together with 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and add it to the mixture. Mix until the ingredients are well combined. The batter’s consistency is important for the final result: it should be thick enough that when you pour it with a spoon, it holds its shape for a second before settling.
Step 3
Let the batter rest for 15 minutes to allow the baking powder to work. Heat a pan over medium flame. Stir the batter, then pour a spoonful onto the pan. Wait until bubbles form on the surface of the pancake, then flip it and cook for another minute on the other side. Remove the pancake and, if possible, place it on a wire rack to cool.
Step 4
In the final step, choose two pancakes of similar size. Place some breakfast chocolate on one pancake, then top it with the second pancake. Press the edges gently to seal them together, as the pancakes have a delicate texture. You can use either hazelnut or classic breakfast chocolate as a filling.
In addition to using breakfast chocolate as a nut, it can also be used to decorate pancakes. In this method, put pancakes on top of each other and pour breakfast chocolate on it in any way you like and make it more attractive with bananas and strawberries.
